Cape Cod Beer Outside Sales Associate in Hyannis, Massachusetts
Join the Craft Beer Revolution & live & work on beautiful Cape Cod! This is position is for a territory that includes working daily on Cape Cod. Living on or near enough to commute to the Cape is essential for this role. Cape Cod Beer is a self-distributing microbrewery located in Hyannis MA. Over the last 19 years, we have grown from a one-person company with 12 customers to a 20+ employee company with 500+ customers within 50 miles of the brewery. We love Cape Cod, are passionate about making award winning beers & pride ourselves on providing world-class customer service to our customers! We continue to grow each year by adding new beers to the lineup. It is time for us to hire another Sales Associate to help us spread the love about our product! We\'re looking for someone who loves craft beer, has a great personality, preferably has some sales experience or is very eager to learn how to be a sales person, has the right attitude, & wants to live & work on Cape Cod. Our Sales Associates are responsible for representing Cape Cod Beer to both our on & off premise customers & prospects (meaning both restaurants & liquor stores.) They must act as an Ambassador for Cape Cod Beer & have a vast depth of knowledge about our company, our brands, the craft beer industry, the intricacies of selling craft beer & the challenges of a highly seasonal & competitive market. They must be very personable & extremely organized! This position is approximately 20% new business development & 80% account management & growth. This position reports to the Director of Sales & Distribution. We will train you on the intricacies of selling craft, & in some cases, with the right candidate, with the right attitude, will train a candidate with no sales experience. Requirements: Must be 21+ Must be able to lift/carry/deliver beer on occasion. Must have a valid MA driver\'s license & a clean driving record. Must have schedule flexibility to meet scheduling demands of customer tastings/events, i.e., some evenings & Saturdays. Must genuinely like people, exude customer service, & love craft beer. Must have sufficient technical abilities to run software, spreadsheets, h& held devices etc. Previous Sales Experience is helpful but we are willing to train the right person. Must have housing within our distribution area (Plymouth & Barnstable Counties), or within a reasonable driving distance.
