Aerotek A&P Mechanic in Hyannis, Massachusetts

Aerotek is seeking A&P Mechanics to work independently or as a team member performing inspections, repairs and preventative maintenance on company aircraft (mainly Cessna 402, but moving towards Tecnam P2012). On the AMO side of the house, the main duties and responsibilities include regional airline maintenance - daily inspections, scheduled/unscheduled flight maintenance, phase inspections, etc.

MUST HAVES

-A&P License

-Mechanical ability/aptitude

-Testing & troubleshooting ability

-Flexible schedule to work 1st or 2nd shift and weekends

-Own set of basic tools

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

-Current A&P certificate required

-Will hire entry level A&P's

-Aircraft maintenance work experience preferred but not required (GA, military, or corporate are acceptable)

-Must have basic mechanical skills

-Must own basic set of aircraft maintenance tools

-Must take instruction and guidance well

-Must be goal oriented, have an exceptional attention to detail, and must work well in team situations and also as an individual

-Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work any shift including nights, weekends and holidays

-Ability to read and write for documentation purposes
