Our Corporate Systems Engineers employ multiple information sources to understand customers’ needs and trends for our Hyper-Converged Infrastructure, and collaborate with product lifecycle management teams to advance requirements into the product innovation process.

Our team is determined to deliver solutions that meet or exceed our customers' expectations, collaborating with various teams to integrate simplicity, performance, security, reliability, serviceability, and several other quality attributes into our products and services.

As part of our team you will also work on transferring knowledge to sales operations and customers, using creative methods to increase the dissemination and facilitate absorption of the content that is needed to support new features and functions that are continuously introduced.

Key Responsibilities

  • Employ multiple information sources to understand customers’ needs and document use cases and requirements, providing feedback to product lifecycle management teams.

  • Advise on future product enhancements. Demonstrate or validate the feasibility of a technology or a solution

  • Support product releases by executing system level validations, ensuring that the system matches quality attributes, requirements from different stakeholders, and creating training content

  • Create various types of technical content for sales and delivery operations, and customers, including Planning Guides, White Papers, Best Practices, Presentations, Training material

  • Deliver technical presentations to sales teams and in events.

  • Provide technical work direction and training to other staff members and deliver presentations at customers and SE meetings

  • Participate in the design and validation of solutions for particular customer purposes

Essential Requirements

  • Strong familiarity with the VMware solution ecosystem. Ability to design a VMware vSphere based virtual infrastructure for an enterprise data center

  • Familiarity with VMware vSphere 6.x administration and configuration; Hands-on skills should be sufficient to work independently with VMware vSphere; VCP certification is preferred

  • Strong familiarity with Hyper-Converged infrastructures – Products, technology and market knowledge

  • General knowledge and application of engineering concepts

  • Interpersonal communication skills, able to lead technical conversation professionally with customers, partners, cross-functional teams

  • Presentation skills

  • Bachelor’s degree, and 8+ years of experience

Desirable Requirements

  • Familiarity with VSAN technology. Conceptual knowledge and hands on skills

  • Familiarity with Network virtualization and Security, with specific NSX knowledge. Hands on skills on configuration and solution design

  • Ethernet networking background

  • Familiarity with VMware’s Cloud management portfolio

  • Familiarity with cloud based solutions
