Dell EMC Isilon is a leader in the scale-out NAS market with year over year growth. You’d be joining a small group of experienced Product Managers who have helped build successful products at various Fortune 500 companies. As a Consultant Product Manager, you will help define, build and deliver our Unstructured Data Storage vision and value to our customers. The role is cross-functional yet requires a strong technical background. You will work closely with engineering, CTO office, operations, finance, sales and executive teams to bring products and features to market.

Key responsibilities:

  • Define strategy and vision, and convert it into a roadmap

  • Identify and resolve any issues (strategic & tactical) that may impair team’s ability to deliver on strategic and business goals

  • Work closely with hardware and software engineering teams to deliver products to market

  • Drive product releases and support launches in collaboration with other functions of the organization

  • Make data driven decisions but move quickly

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelors or higher with a technical discipline. MBA preferred.

  • Leadership skills including strong written and verbal communication, problem solving, negotiation, and ability to influence others.

  • Strong industry knowledge or experience in storage, high performance systems, and/or relevant customer markets.

  • Ability to work effectively with senior management as well as across disciplines.

  • Customer focused – success is measured by whether the customers achieve their business/operational objectives, not by adding just another widget.

  • Experience in file protocols – NFS and SMB

Preferred Location: Seattle, but open to other areas of the country.
