Product Marketing Manager - VxRail

VxRail is the only jointly engineered HCI system with deep VMware Cloud Foundation integration that delivers a simple and direct path to the hybrid cloud with one complete, automated platform.

You will:

  • Create compelling customer centric messaging

  • Develop marketing and communications plans and activities that articulate the value of Dell hybrid cloud solutions

  • Collaborate across multiple product marketing teams, with a specific focus on VMware Cloud Foundation on VxRail

Essential Requirements

  • Create world-class content ranging from high-level executive keynote presentations, videos, web page content, solution overviews and sales enablement tools

  • Participate in product launches and related key events to ensure key messages are adopted across multiple customer facing marketing and sales teams

  • Support use case and workload priorities for the product by delivering compelling solutions content to address different buyer personas.

  • Create sales enablement tools and presentations to ensure sales force readiness to bring products to market

  • Collaborate with Technical Marketing, Content Strategy and Sales Enablement colleagues to ensure consistent and compelling go to market and sales enablement strategy

  • Works together with vendor partners, campaign teams, channel and field marketing to drive lead generation and awareness campaign activities with a focus on driving net new buyers

Essential Requirements

  • Strong writing skills – you are able to tell an impactful story and build a comprehensive messaging map around it

  • Self-starter – you are a problem solver with ability to build strong relationships to get work done

  • Positivity – You have a positive attitude, work hard, and are confident yet humble enough to constantly want to learn and improve

  • Advanced understanding of datacenter infrastructure, hybrid cloud, software defined storage, hyper-converged infrastructure, containers and IT operations automation. Knowledge of hyper-scaler cloud-based storage a plus.

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with the aptitude to grasp new programs quickly

  • Comfortable Presenting to both large audiences and in one-on-one briefings for sales, partner, and customer audiences

Desirable Requirements:

  • Willing and able to travel for event support when needed

  • Minimum of a BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, Engineering and/or other related degrees with 8 or more years in product marketing with a track record of awesome performance
