The OpenScale Payment Solution team is seeking to add an experienced pricing or finance professional to our organization. OpenScale Payment Solutions is part of Dell Financial Services and includes a portfolio of programs that provide customers more flexible payment solutions than traditional leasing and financing options. The candidate will develop models in support of new variants to the Flex On Demand program which provides customers a metered, pay as you go option. In addition, this individual will create high visibility custom pricing proposals for large opportunities with unique needs.

Key Areas of responsibility for this role will include:

  • Maintain and develop enhancements to the overall program’s pricing tool. This tool is used by the pricing team globally.

  • Develop & model strategic changes to the program based on customer needs, new technologies, and competitive landscape.

  • Create Flex On Demand custom pricing proposals across the Dell EMC storage & hyper-converged product portfolio. The proposals will provide customers flexible consumption based pricing options that vary depending on commitment level. Collaborate closely with Sales teams to create proposals that meet the customer’s needs based on technology use cases

  • Model and analyze opportunities to create pricing & pro-forma deal profitability combining multiple factors including the underlying product pricing, field discounting, maintenance and margins along with cost of capital, and delivery costs. These inputs are combined with committed and forecast customer usage to drive deal economics and pricing.

  • Train and mentor new team members on the pricing tool as well as ongoing coaching.

  • Create / Modify systems and tools to make the pricing process more efficient while meeting all corporate and program goals


  • Subject matter expert in Enterprise Pricing and/or Financial Modeling.

  • Bachelors degree in business administration or technical discipline required

  • Strategic thinking – demonstrated ability to drive strategic changes.

  • Expert MS Excel skills including use of macros, pivot tables, goal seek and other advanced formulas.

  • Ability to solve complex problems; understand commercial terms and contracts

  • Positively impact on customer satisfaction through a combination of collaboration, the ability to influence others, and demonstrating expert knowledge using financial/technical knowledge.

  • Ability to work with cross functional groups and team player

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Presents analysis findings to Executive leadership and ensures confidence in the findings

  • Existing or demonstrated ability to gain base level knowledge of Dell EMC storage and hyper-converged product portfolio and underlying technical specifications involving capacity and performance

  • Prior pricing, financial or operational support of a sales organization a plus.

  • 8+ years applicable work experience


  • MBA preferred
