Our impressive Engineering Technician team at Dell Technologies is vital to the success of ground-breaking engineering developments. Taking on developed test plans or clear briefs, they work on a wide range of special assignments and prototype development projects. Our engineers rely on their assistance through the development processes and the test phase of prototype systems. Constructing, troubleshooting and testing prototyping assemblies – they do it all, which means that our global reputation as innovators is assured.

You will:

  • Work locally with a Team of engineers to support the Development and Test communities.

  • Troubleshoot and repair systems to the component level.

  • Sets up, configures systems and software.

  • Assembles and disassembles systems as necessary.

  • Sets up, configures and tests complex systems and software.

  • Need to have a Strong understanding of Operating systems, setting up TCIP network, HBA's and drivers,

  • Strong understanding of hardware and software interactions, and able to apply this understanding to resolve issue

  • Antivirus patching

  • Works independently

Essential Requirements

  • Typically requires 4+ years of related experience

  • Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, Redhat, Suse

  • San Fabric Zoning

Desirable Requirements

  • Good to know VMware but not a must
