PrismHR Business Development Representative in Hopkinton, Massachusetts

As a leader of Cloud Based (SaaS) HCM Solutions, PrismHR has incredible opportunities for experienced support professionals in the SaaS space to join our team. Our HCM software platform is made up of a comprehensive suite including Payroll, Employee Benefits, Talent Acquisition/Management, Human Resource Management and Time & Attendance solutions. We are mature, well capitalized and profitable and are now leveraging our market leadership position to aggressively expand into new channels/markets.

This role will work with prospective companies to explore and determine a need for our solutions. The Business Development Representative is responsible for assisting the sales and marketing teams with sales qualification and lead nurturing activities. The Business Development Representative will call a list of prospects and move clients through the qualification process and advancement of opportunities and closed deals.

SPECIFIC DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute business-to-business proactive outreach by outbound calling of key contacts in prospective companies within identified territories to generate awareness and interest in our solutions, resulting in an appointment being generated for a Sales Executive to follow-up and move the potential opportunity forward

  • Provide a clear, compelling and articulate explanation of our business value to prospective customers

  • Probe for business “gap” and pre-qualify need and decision authority

  • Generate qualified leads to our Sales Executive; Schedule qualified appointments, when appropriate, for a Solution Consultant

  • Maintain and add information to Salesforce in a prescribed manner

  • Develop a firm knowledge base of product offering and capabilities and future enhancements

  • Follow general guidelines, template and sales training to achieve quota and activity goals assigned

  • Lead or participate in other assigned projects

SKILLS and EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT, or related fields from an Accredited College or University

  • One or more years of experience in B2B Inside Sales, preferably in a SaaS environment desired

  • One or more years experience in Software Sales and/or Human Capital Management systems desired

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Contact Management Systems; Working knowledge of Salesforce a plus

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office
