Hazen Paper Company Ink Mixer (2nd Shift) in Holyoke, Massachusetts
POSITION SUMMARY Mix and match inks and solvents for production machines, maintain a clean and organized work area, store materials appropriately and in the correct locations, and maintain accurate inventory on inks and wet goods through auditing/cycle scans ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Operate Hunter Color Machine and ACS Computer. Read scale accurately. ? Deliver proper material to machines. Properly handle and record returns. Follow all written and oral orders and formula. ? Accurately maintain inventory of inks and solvents. Safely handle and accurately label hazardous materials, both for internal usage and to external vendors. ? Receive and unload incoming materials for department. ? Work with Technical Services to use work off ink. ? Maintain up to date print roll identification and % log. ? Other duties may be assigned EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to use adjustable measuring instruments and controls. Have knowledge of basic computer concepts. Must pass pre-employment drug screen including marijuana
