Master Heo's Tae Kwon Do Child Care EEC educator after school in Holyoke, Massachusetts
Job Overview: MHTKD Child Care is looking for an EEC educator for our After School Program! If you are someone who loves and cares for children, is a diligent worker, and dependable team player, we would love to add you to our MHTKD Child Care Community. Requirements: 1 year verified work experience as an Educator in a EEC-licensed center is preferred, but any experience in child care that is in a professional setting (ie, teaching, daycare, etc.) will be considered. Must be 18 years of age or older Job Responsibilities: - Homework help, arts and crafts, bus monitoring, games and activities, school vacation, and after school fun!!! - Assist in developing lesson plans based on state requirements and the specific needs of each child - Plan and lead activities with students according to program schedule - Collaborate with other educators to monitor the development/needs of each child - Work with children in the classroom to promote their learning and development - Be vigilant during inside, outside and wet play times. Also, be willing to get wet and be in the sun during the summer program. - Perform a variety of cleaning and maintenance duties. Duties may include vacuuming, mopping, surface cleaning, dusting, and bathroom services. - Maintain safe and healthy practices - Adhere to all EEC regulations and provide all documentation required by EEC guidelines. - 7D license or interest in obtaining a 7D license is a plus with additional pay!! Hours: Regular hours are 2:30 - 5:30 PM; Wednesdays are 1:30-5:30 PM and Fridays from 2:00 - 6:00 PM. Morning shifts are also available, 7:00 - 9:00 AM, and depending on program needs additional hours may be available (subject to discussion).
