Employment Type: Direct Hire Industry: Executive Level Job Number: 11475 Salary / Pay Rate : 155-165K Job Description Executive Director related responsibilities of a CEO Nonprofit community services providing to the underserved and low income and needy J Morrissey has been retained exclusively to conduct the search of CEO for our nonprofit client with a 140 year old legacy in the Western Massachusetts area. JOB SUMMARY Oversee the operations and oversees the budgets of several programs including foodbanks, shelters and programs for low income and underserved populations. The CEO has shared governance responsibilities and reports to the Corporate Board of Directors. Shares the Financial responsibilities involved with endowment management including asset allocation implementation. This position represents the continued growth of an in-house investment function for the Sisters of Providence Ministries. The CEO will have the personal and professional responsibility to continue on the 140-year-old legacy, mission and vision it has sustained throughout its legacy. A strong background in endowment & foundations, or similar organization allocating capital investments Collaborates with Investment Partners and evaluates investment strategies and performance Strong communication skills and the ability to present perspectives and recommendations, both verbally and in writing, in a clear and logical manner Self-motivated and directed, possessing an ability to have vision for the future sustainment of the organization. The highest level of integrity, honesty, and sense of fiduciary duty Collaborates with the entity leaders on facilities, human resources, Information Technology, operations, audit, legal contracts, risk management, vendor relationships and financial support. Leads the Board of Directors in the development and strategic goals of the organization. Summarizes and analyzes financial reports in quarterly statements, including P&L, cashflow and investments and endowments, endowment trusts, and accessibility to funds and monitors performance. Regularly Presents data to the Board of Directors. Works on various projects and committees including capital projects, New and existing facilities and construction. Negotiates vendor relations including insurance contracts. Seeks opportunities to carry out the vision and sustainability for future growth, sustainability, and commitment to the community. Requirements: Bachelor\'s Degree, Master\'s degree or MBA preferred 12-15 years in the nonprofit or not for profit organizations ideal. Operations, risk management, human resources, Financial Planning, risk management background Policy development Lease and legal contracts Capital Improvement experience Strong and effective communicator with all levels Mission based individual who wants to give back and committed to a purpose. Prior facilities operations, capital projects experience preferred. Full time Salaried position on site M-F
