Aerotek Assistant Operator in Holliston, Massachusetts


Assistant Machine Operators provide assistance and support to various machines and processes in the plant. These duties include packaging, labeling, transport of material and supplies, quality control measurements, verifications, and documentation.

2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on , 3 days off. back to 2 days etc.

Day Shift is now 7:30 am – 7:00 pm Night Shift is now 7:30 pm – 7:00 am Orientation: 8A-7P - if you have a candidate that needs orientation in a different language, they have translators on specific days: The translator schedule is – • Monday – Vietnamese • Wednesday – Spanish • Friday – French/Haitian Creole

All workers who clock in by 7:30 for their shifts will be paid for 11.5 hours if they work a full shift. Workers must still clock in and out for their 30 minute meal breaks to document their break time, but time will be adjusted to reflect the full 11.5 hours.

Please submit names and full DOBs and city/state of residence. Candidates must pass 10 panel urine drug screen and be E-verified for work status.

Base pay for Assistant operators is $17.85. There is a 10% pay differential for night shift. - Night is $19.64

We onboard all new hires with a security training and orientation on day shift, usually have starts on Monday, Wednesday and Friday every week. We are limited to 20 people per training class so we need to have a confirmed list of starts so we don’t have too many people showing up and have to turn them away.

If you start on a blue day, you are assigned to blue shift. If you start on an orange day, you are assigned to orange shift.

Everyone’s first day starts at 8am and they are expected to work until 7pm that first day. They report to their regular shifts the next day.

Everyone must have steel toe shoes to work in production and they will need them on the first day. (We do have toe covers available if someone needs to wait till their first pay check to purchase shoes.) All other PPE will be provided.

Dress code: long pants (no shorts or cropped pants), plain t-shirts acceptable. Nothing ripped or torn or overly baggy (even stylishly so).

Biggest concerns: Should be looking for longer term temp to hire role, not for someone who just wants a job for a week or so. Should have reliable transportation. Needs to be able to understand the shifts/schedule. Can’t work more than 12 hours in a shift, but can pick up OT as offered on off days.
