The Role:
As a Group Therapist, you will provide therapeutic treatment and counseling to patients, guiding them in the acquisition of skills and strategies for managing mental illness, co-occurring substance use disorders, and associated life stressors. Your responsibilities will include facilitating therapeutic groups, completing required documentation, supporting departmental tasks, and assisting with patient-related activities under supervision.
Essential Duties:
Collaborate with nursing staff and treatment teams to support patients' treatment and recovery.
Facilitate therapeutic groups and provide individual interventions to help patients develop coping strategies for symptom management and recovery.
Formulate short-term treatment goals and interventions based on assessments and long-term treatment plans.
Observe and document changes in patients' conditions, moods, and behaviors.
Contribute to a supportive treatment environment that empowers patients to take an active role in their recovery.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Master’s degree in a related field (e.g., Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related discipline) required.
Experience:
Ideal candidates are passionate about behavioral health, dedicated to patient care, and eager to contribute to Haverhill Pavilion’s mission.

Additional Information:
Pay Range:
$30–39/hour, based on experience.
Shifts Available:
Extremely flexible scheduling options, with 4- to 8-hour shifts available.
Looking for an ideal candidate to work every Saturday or Saturday very Sunday 8 hour shifts
Employment Type:
Per diem opportunities available—work shifts that fit your schedule.
Part time- one day per week
