Warehouse LeadJob Summary
The Warehouse Lead is responsible for the efficient day-to-day operation of warehouse
personnel.
The Lead is accountable for the safe operations of the warehouse personnel and
may also be required to perform any of their duties in addition to his or her
own duties.
Perform other duties as assigned
Communicates with Management on a consistent basis
Communicates with Management of customer to ensure favorable
resolutions to any issues occurs
Responsiblefor the productivity of a shift
Have the ability to train personnel to adhere to company standards
of production, safety, and proper behavior
Operates forklifts and material handling equipment.
Keeps warehouse clean and orderly.
Leads and participates in routine work assigned to temporary
workers
Equipment:
Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using a
forklift, clamp truck, or other power equipment.
Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following
prescribed work methods.
Safety and Security:
Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
Conduct operations in a manner which promotes safety.
Comply with OSHA and MSDS Standards.
Nonnegotiable:
Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Knowledge/Experience/Education:
Working knowledge of general storekeeping methods, practices and
procedure.
Knowledge of proper lifting techniques.
Report preparation.
Physical
Demands:
Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time (at
least 2 hours straight, four times in an 8 hour day).
Able to twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level and crouch
on a frequent basis.
Able to use hands and feet simultaneously and perform repetitive
movements.
