The primary purpose of this position is to operate one or more types of gasoline, diesel, or electric powered wheeled vehicles typically having a gross vehicle weight of more than 32,000 pounds. Responsibilities Drives tractor trailers and/or other vehicles typically having a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of more than 32,000 pounds. Operates one or more electric, Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), or diesel powered fork lift trucks. Drives one or more types of passenger buses which carry 16 or more passengers. Performs operator maintenance. Maintains records and documents actions. Required to perform on-call duties Physical Requirements: Reaching, turning, or moving hands, arms, feet, and legs to operate hand and foot controls. Associated duties require stooping, bending, and climbing. Lifts and carries objects weighing up to 40 pounds and heavier objects with assistance.
