Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Pioneer Valley Hotel Group. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.

Responsibilities :- Lead and manage all aspects of hotel operations, including but not limited to managing the team, guest relations, financial performance, and scheduling. Accurately execute all company and brand initiatives, policies and procedures with a continuous improvement in quality, service and operations.

  • Hire, train, and lead employees to meet and exceed service and quality goals. Coach, counsel and motivate all employees as necessary.

  • Utilize expertise in the POS system to optimize operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.- Implement effective inventory control measures to maximize profitability.- Demonstrate proficiency in hotel operations.- Develop and execute comprehensive training programs for team development and performance enhancement.

  • Ensure safety procedures are in place for the protection of employees, guests, and our assets. - Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :- Proven experience in hotel management at least 2 years preferred with a focus on customer service excellence.- Strong background in staff training, development, and mentorship.- Solid understanding of inventory control practices within the hospitality industry.- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.

  • Ability to work any day of the week and hours. On-call responsibilities are required.- Must have an attitude and passion for success.

  • Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work without direct supervision.

Working Conditions :

Because our hotel may have exterior corridor hotels, the physical environment may require the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Position may encounter pets. Regularly scheduled hours may include nights, weekends and holidays. Schedules vary based on business needs.

Physical Requirements :

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

L anguage Skills :

Able to understand and speak using the predominant language(s) of guests. Able to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures. Ability to understand reports provided by management. Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, suppliers, employees, and guests.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to use basic math skills such as: calculating figures and amounts such as discounts, percentages, and taxes.

Reasoning Ability :

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

ServSafe, Allergen training, CPR & First Aid, and any additional per Brand Standards within the first 90 days of hire.
