Hiring for a Dedicated Quality Assurance Manager!

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to oversee and direct our quality assurance programs. This role involves ensuring continuous production of products by establishing and maintaining standards, auditing production facilities, and improving quality management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and direct quality assurance programs to ensure continuous production of products.

  • Review and evaluate inputs related to the Quality Management System for compliance and trends.

  • Directly supervise the Quality Assurance Team.

  • Manage department expectations pertaining to accurate schedules, costs, and resources.

  • Establish and maintain a policy for documentation of all products.

  • Audit production facilities to ensure compliance with applicable standards, including ISO 9001, QSR, and GMPs.

  • Monitor and advise on the performance of the site quality management system, producing data and measuring quality operations against set standards.

  • Review products, processes, and systems on an ongoing basis to determine where improvements can be made.

  • Work with quality assurance and operations to establish procedures, standards, and systems.

  • Collaborate with purchasing, supplier quality, and external suppliers to establish quality requirements for materials and components.

  • Manage the selection and development of people, resources, and budgets necessary to perform the functions of the department.

  • Train workforce as required in various quality methods, standards, and procedures.

  • Ensure the effectiveness and conformance of the Quality system to industry standards.

Essential Skills

  • Strong experience in quality engineering and quality management.

  • Experience with six sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Proficiency in root cause analysis.

  • Knowledge of ISO standards.

  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification.

  • Internal audit experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Discipline.

  • 10+ years' experience in quality/management.

  • Experience in the medical or automotive industry.

Work Environment

The work environment includes a production facility that adheres to ISO 9001, QSR, and GMP standards. The Quality Assurance Manager will work closely with various departments, including quality assurance, operations, purchasing, and engineering. The role requires effective communication and collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers. The position involves managing budgets, resources, and training programs to ensure the quality system's effectiveness and conformance to industry standards.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $145000.00

Workplace Type
