GREENFIELD Manufacturing Engineer BETE Fog Nozzle, Inc. is seeking a talented individual to join the Manufacturing Engineering team. This role focuses on supporting BETE\'s mill-turn CNC machining and driving improvements throughout BETE\'s operations and engineering. The selected candidate will lead innovation, evaluation, development, and implementation of methods and systems to support complex manufacturing processes. Responsibilities include analyzing operations for inefficiencies and leveraging existing or emerging technologies to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost. The ideal candidate should have familiarity with turning and milling operations and a strong motivation to expand their knowledge and skills. These skills will be utilized to create CNC programs, and setup sheets for both production and development processes with the expectation of working hands on with the operator to verify program accuracy and solve process inefficiencies. This role requires a solid background in mathematics to develop robust and scalable cutting tool paths using geometric equations. Job Responsibilities: Create and release high quality CNC programs and setup instructions for both turning and milling centers that are reliable and free of defects such as typos or unclear instructions. Interpret technical drawings to identify the operations, tooling and fixturing needed to produce a component. Responsible for driving process improvements in areas that align with company focus areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Innovation and Cost. Work hands on with shop floor personnel to recognize and solve issues. Consults on and contributes to new product development or one-off customer requests from both a product and a manufacturing standpoint. Ensure that the company\'s manufacturing processes are in compliance with all government laws and regulations. Analyze and plan workflow, equipment placement and space requirements to improve manufacturing efficiency. Advises on equipment maintenance and repair services and make sure that manufacturer\'s procedures and instructions are followed to keep production equipment operational. Identifies opportunities for improvement company wide, brings it to the right people\'s attention and offers potential solutions where appropriate. Maintain knowledge and understanding of the latest engineering/manufacturing concepts as they pertain to BETE Fog Nozzle Actively participate in team meetings by asking questions, proposing creative ideas, and giving appreciative and constructive feedback. Support BETE Operations by providing technical knowledge as needed. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Familiarity with metal cutting tooling. Experience in machining a plus. Experience with CAD software Experience with CAM software a plus. Proficiency with geometric equations Mechanical aptitude with hands on ability.
