Berkshire Health Systems Guest Services Representative in Great Barrington, Massachusetts
Greet everyone entering Fairview Hospital in a warm, welcoming manner, in order to create a positive first impression. Screen patients/visitors for communicable disease as defined by BHS through guidelines of regulatory agencies. Provide hand sanitizer and appropriate PPE. Provide direction, information, and escort as necessary while ensuring prompt attention to safety.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)
One year previous reception experience in a hospital or busy office setting preferred.
Excellent communication skills.
Education and Training:
High school or equivalent.
License, Certification & Registration:
Outstanding customer service skills, demonstrating a friendly, pleasant, and outgoing welcome when greeting anyone entering the hospital.
Proven ability and experience dealing with agitated/dissatisfied persons.
Manual dexterity necessary for computer purposes.
Proven ability to handle multiple “in person” requests for assistance.
Demonstrated high level of flexibility, with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Must be able to respond quickly and accurately in all emergency situations, while maintaining a calm demeanor.
Spanish language proficiency preferred.
Basic computer skills.
Excellent computer skills.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English in a clear, understandable manner, using good grammar and appropriate language.
