Full or part-time opportunity Responsibilities - Use fundraising software (DonorPerfect) to create and run regular donor and giving reports - Enter all gifts into DonorPerfect. - Produce and send acknowledgement letters - Reconcile donor contributions on a monthly basis with bookkeeper and the organization\'s revenue forecast - Take a lead role in donor research, including foundations, businesses and individuals. - Share the findings/coordinate with other Development staff, including the Grant Writer. - For the foundation segment, track deadlines for funding applications and reports. - Assist the Grant Writer with assembling required application documents and with providing required information and statistics - Coordinate with other member of VIM staff and departments as needed - Manage the logistics of special events - Manage the production and distribution of appeal letters, invitations, thank you notes and other fundraising/communication materials - Respond effectively to the requirements of development and communications committees Skills This position involves a great deal of interaction and collaboration with donors, staff, and volunteers.
