Whole Foods Market Seafood Facility Production Team Member in Gloucester, Massachusetts
Job DescriptionSummary: The Production Team Member performs duties assigned by the Team Leader and related to the daily production and preparing of items for retail sale, including handling, trimming and boning of fish.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Handle, trim and bone fish to ensure quality control of finished product
Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment. Clean as needed.
Ensure compliance with HACCP sanitation procedures
Provide excellent customer service to stores and vendors
Use required personal protective equipment
Adhere to all policies and procedures of the company and facility
Comply with all occupational safety and health regulations
Attend all team and facility meetings
Report all life safety and fire hazards, along with any other violations of company policy, to Team Leader for correction and report all accidents and injuries to Team Leader or Facility Leadership immediately.
Properly and accurately record time using time clock at the beginning and end of each shift and for unpaid meal breaks during shift.
Responsible for proper dress code. Non-slip, waterproof boots must be worn.

Good communication skills
Must be eighteen years or older
Stand and walk for extended periods of time up to 4 hours without a break.
Bend and stoop to grasp objects and climb ladders.
Ability to perform job by repetitive use of right and left hands for simple grasping, power grasping, pushing and pulling and fine manipulation. While exact time may vary for each task, constant use may be anywhere from one hour up to six hours at a time.
Must be able to lift and carry loads up to 10 pounds regularly from 1-50 feet and 11-50 pounds intermittently during the course of the work shift. Distance to carry heavier loads may range from 1-20 feet.
Ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness.
Demonstrated proficiency in the proper use of a dumpster, forklift, knives, and all related equipment.
Flexibility to work in varying temperatures (cold and Wet)
Work in a moderately noisy environment.
