Adecco US, Inc. Rework Technician in Gloucester, Massachusetts

Adecco is working with a global leader in providing essential power solutions to the Industrial Technology, Healthcare and Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment sectors in Gloucester, MA who is hiring immediately for Rework Technician on 1st shift! As a Rework Technician, you will perform essential duties with starting pay ranging from $25-$30/hour, plus available overtime.

Pay Rate:

  • 1st Shift: $25.00 per hour Schedule:

  • 1st Shift: 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday Job Details: Our client seeking an individual to work on modifications, reworks, and repairs of electrical assemblies by using assembly instructions and technical drawing packages or other verbal instructions. Responsibilities:

  • Rework PCBs and PCBAs based on Engineering change request.

  • Must be able to record information based on action performed in required database.

  • Operate rework station to place components according to IPC standards as applicable.

  • Compliance to ESD, EH&S, and 6S policies within production environment.

  • Undertake cross-training as well as providing training to others in the department.

  • Work with limited supervision and follow written and verbal instructions. KEY QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Minimum 2 years of prior experience directly related to hand soldering and electro-mechanical rework.

  • In specific: SMT and Through Hole, Leaded and RoHS compliant solder, etc.

  • Ability to lift and move 50 pounds on a regular basis.

  • IPC endorsement (J-STD-001 CIS or CIT) preferred.

  • Familiarity with IPC-A-600/610/620 Inspection standards is a plus. If you are interested in this position or others available, please apply with an updated resume!
