This position offers a challenging opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Quality professional. The role is located in Franklin, MA and will have a key impact on the success of the Environmental and Process Monitoring (EPM) Business Unit. EPM is a $285M standalone, Global and fast-growing BU within the Chemical Analysis Division (CAD).

What will you do?
Direct responsibility for all Quality-related activities at the Franklin, MA site with Global responsibility across all EPM sites (including Winsford, UK, Pune, India and Shanghai, China) in leading implementation and improvement of the latest Quality methodologies and thinking
Further establish and enhance all aspects of the Quality Management System from strategic planning to hands-on implementation on topics such as Quality Assurance/Control, auditing, document management CAPA resolution, etc.
Implement a "Problem Solving" culture to Quality issues that will drive sustainable RCCA
Operate successfully in a matrix organization and own Quality matters across Functions, Departments and Suppliers in order to resolve issues and improve performance
Implement and drive modern Quality methodologies and principles around Process Control and Predictive Quality
Leverage Thermo Fisher Scientific's PPI Business System to drive productivity and continuous improvement across the Quality function
How will you get here?
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline
Training in Lean Sigma/Six Sigma processes. Green or Black belt certification preferred
A minimum of 5 years of Quality experience in a regulated industry
A minimum of 3 years of experience managing, leading and developing a Quality team, preferably in multiple locations internationally
Significant demonstrated experience with Quality Management Systems implementation and improvement
Proven experience as a "Champion for Quality"
Experience working with and managing multiple projects and teams simultaneously across a matrixed organization
A decisive leader who is able to inspire and motivate teams across cultures and geographies and can clearly articulate goals and objectives
Extensive knowledge of Problem-Solving techniques such as 8D, DMAIC, PPS, A3, etc.
Excellent relationship building and persuasion skills with the ability to motivate and influence others.
ASQ Quality Manager certified; ASQ Lead Auditor training is preferred
Ability to travel (both domestic and internationally) and interface successfully with external customers and commercial teams
