Inclusion and diversity have long been a priority at TJX extending to every part of our business, but we recognize that now, more than ever, we need to continue working to do more and be better. We know that action is required to make a difference.
To further support our efforts, we are growing our I&D team to include a newly createdSenior Manager, Inclusion and Diversityto play a leadership role in the next phase of TJX’s Inclusion and Diversity evolution. Specifically, the Senior Manager will implement new strategies and programs so that Inclusion and Diversity is further imbedded in each of TJX’s seven brands and engages all of our almost 300,000 global Associates. The Senior Manager reports to and partners with the Assistant Vice President I&D to assess organizational needs, understand key partners, and develop sustainable I&D solutions. The role works in a highly matrixed environment which requires the capacity to influence and partner across all of our brands and business units.
Provide expert and strategic I&D direction, coaching and counsel to business and HR partners to ensure achievement of business objectives and I&D initiatives
Advise key leaders in HR to integrate I&D across organizational processes and practices
Partner with I&D AVP to establish TJX I&D program goals, and help craft and develop programs that will drive progress against established metrics
Serve as subject matter expert with Talent Acquisition on diversity sourcing, attraction, and engagement strategies
Analyze and present trends in the area of I&D, stay abreast of standard methodologies, and benchmark leading companies and programs
Manage measurement and reporting to communicate success and drive improvements
Deliver training material or lead the work of internal or external meeting facilitators
Conduct needs assessments to craft I&D interventions
Provide development, administration and analysis of I&D related surveys and focus groups
Cultivate relationships with external vendors as required to deliver I&D solutions to the business
Support other projects as required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
7+ years of experience implementing I&D initiatives and/or change management/organizational development
Proven experience leading organizational cultural change along with developed coaching and consulting skills preferably in the I&D space
Storyteller who can simplify the complex and drive clarity and consensus
Subject matter expertise in inclusion, equity and diversity best practices, trends and legal requirements
Demonstrated skill building positive relationships, engaging, and influencing partners at all levels within a matrix organization
Strong communication and facilitation skills
Experience scaling global company-wide programs with multiple partners
Experience supporting a matrixed national organization with multiple divisions/locations across the country, global experience a plus
Experience with vendor selection and management
