Staples Project Manager, Staples Business Advantage - Customer Marketing in Framingham, Massachusetts

We use customer data and analytics to help us understand and improve our customers’ experiences, drive customer retention, and encourage brand loyalty. Our team is diverse, with skillsets and responsibilities ranging from graphic design, content creation and performance marketing to loyalty & rewards programs. We work together to provide expertise and guidance, so that the Staples brand is well represented in all areas.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting customer growth initiatives in all stages from campaign planning to deployment

  • Collaborate and partner with cross functional teams to execute all campaigns effectively and efficiently across channels such as email, paid media, site etc.

  • Ensure successful delivery of all projects – organize people, meetings, and resources to get projects moving

  • Draft creative briefs for creative team, collect and provide feedback, proof all materials prior to deployment, and give final approval

  • Engage with the marketing operations and analytics teams to define customer segments for targeting and manage analysis and insights request process post campaign completion

  • Clearly articulate status reports, next steps/action items, challenges, risks, reviews/approvals and escalate as necessary

  • Manage, prioritize, maintain, and track multiple projects simultaneously, ensure adherence to processes and timeline/budgets throughout the project lifecycle

What you bring to the table:

  • Detail oriented, highly organized individual with strong project management skills

  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written

  • Ability to work well independently and within a team setting including across multiple internal teams

  • Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines at one time while adjusting quickly to changing priorities and campaign timelines

  • Background in customer lifecycle marketing and program execution within a test/learn framework preferred

Qualifications :

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of related work experience

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, specifically MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook

What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • Prior experience in marketing or project management

  • Experience using marketing or project management platforms
