Ameresco Project Management Engineer in Framingham, Massachusetts

We are currently seeking a Project Management Engineer to join our Framingham Office.

Responsibilities

Prepare engineering design and bid document development in support of construction of customer site programs and projects in accordance with energy savings performance contract requirements;

Analyze and prepare conceptual and detailed engineering design and bid documents, cost estimates, drawings, and specifications for energy efficient building technology and system measures;

Conduct site surveys to investigate existing mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing systems, and document energy performance information including utility data, and facility infrastructure drawings;

Provide engineering guidance throughout construction, project commissioning, and operations;

Cultivate and maintain effective business relationships at all levels and project phases;

Manage project expenditures and job cost accounting: including documentation, approvals, tracking, and reporting for engineering aspect;

Ensure compliance with company, industry, trade, and jurisdictional safety standards, practices, codes and successful project implementation that meets or exceeds company objectives, financial parameters, and technical needs required to deliver customer energy cost savings; and

Perform other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications

BSME or equivalent four-year technical engineering degree.

3 years’ HVAC system analysis and design engineering experience, with exposure to facility operations and mechanical installation projects involving heating, cooling, lighting, building controls, and automation technologies.

Experience in AutoCAD and Revit MEP.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Microsoft Project & Primevera

Experience in Trane Trace 700 and Carrier HAP Heating and Cooling Loads programs

Proven ability to manage and complete complex projects in a timely, cost-effective manner.Strong verbal, written, computer communication and technical presentation skills.

MS Office proficiency

Valid Drivers’ License in good standing, issued by resident state required.

20%-30% Local and regional travel required.
