The Marketing and Member Specialist plays a pivotal role in enhancing the MetroWest Chamber of Commerce?s visibility, membership growth, and community impact. This individual will develop and implement marketing strategies, manage communications, and build strong relationships with current and prospective members. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about fostering business and community development in the MetroWest region. Key Responsibilities Marketing and Communications: Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote Chamber programs, events, and initiatives. Manage social media platforms, email newsletters, and the Chamber website to ensure timely and engaging content. Design promotional materials, such as flyers, brochures, and advertisements, that reflect the Chamber?s brand. Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing efforts to optimize engagement and outreach. Membership Engagement: Serve as point of contact for members, addressing inquiries and ensuring excellent customer service. Develop strategies for membership retention and recruitment, including outreach to prospective members. Organize and execute member onboarding programs to foster engagement. Maintain an updated membership database and track engagement metrics. Event Support: Collaborate with the events team to plan and promote networking events, workshops, and business expos. Coordinate marketing efforts to maximize attendance and visibility for Chamber events. Represent the Chamber at community events to increase brand recognition and build relationships. Community and Stakeholder Engagement: Build partnerships with local businesses, nonprofits, and government organizations. Act as an advocate for the Chamber?s mission and support efforts to position the Chamber as a community leader. Qualifications Education and Experience: Bachelor?s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). 2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or a membership-focused role, preferably in a nonprofit or business association. Skills and Competencies: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences. Proficiency in digital marketing tools, including social media platforms, email marketing software, and graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite). Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with a small team.
