TheExecutive Development/Learning & Development Manager , facilitates and executes all of the critical aspects for of the talent processes that enable the talent practices across the TJX Corporate functions which include: IT, Legal, Marketing, Finance, Product Development, Logistics, Real Estate, Global Buying Offices (including NYBO and CBO), Global Buying and Sourcing Services, and Corporate HR.The manager is assigned a mix of core responsibilities as well as special projects which are essential in enabling the Talent Lead and the HR business partners to support executives, leaders, and managers across all the functions in developing talent for continued growth. The Executive Development/Learning and Development Manager partners with Human Resources Business Partners and the Corporate Talent Lead to execute the programs and activities that identify, develop, and accelerate talent in the Corporate Division. This position will be based at our Framingham, MA headquarters. As we return to office, TJX has implemented a hybrid work model.

Focus Areas:

  • Talent Review:Develops and executes all the processes that enable effective execution of Talent Review

  • Learning & Executive Development:Works collaboratively to build the U.S. L&D implementation strategy for all L&D solutions

  • Assessments:Ensures all assessment tools and resources are leveraged effectively for Corporate leaders

  • Operational Aspects:Reviews processes regularly to identify opportunities for improvement, performs administrative activities to support all talent related processes

    Responsibilities:

  • Oversees and monitors the on-going execution of Talent Review, which includes preparing leaders at all levels to effectively engage in the Talent Review process

  • Oversees, executes and monitors all Assessment processes and Professional Development initiatives

  • Analyzes data, identify themes, makes recommendations, and facilitate executive development initiatives

  • Designs and develops processes, as well as resource materials instrumental to the success of the HR Business Partners in their ability to consult on talent related matters

  • Establishes strong partnerships with other Associates in Talent and L&D roles across TJX globally to leverage resources, as well as understand and share best practices

  • Develops and continuously improves procedures, tools and guidelines to ensure standardization and consistency for all talent-related processes for all the Corporate functions

  • Maintains and iterates the HRBP toolkit for Corporate to ensure accuracy of HR tools and resources

  • Manages all talent related Teams groups for Corporate HR

  • Represents U.S. on the TMS Learning Global Governance team: defining optimization requests

  • Serves as Corporate Administrator for Talent Management System (TMS) and LMS within the TMS

  • Completes special projects as assigned

    Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience

  • 3-5 years professional HR experience in Professional Development, L&D or related field HR field (HRBP, CoE etc)

  • Demonstrated leadership experience

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills

  • Critical thinking with ability to make connections/linkages among various components

  • Ability to see implications and interdependencies among many different variables

  • Large-scale project management skills

  • Developed data analytical/problem solving skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Comfortable engaging with all levels of management

  • Recognizable executive presence and presentation skills

  • Ability to deal with highly confidential and sensitive data appropriately

  • Training, facilitating and coaching skills.

  • Proficient with MS 365 suite including Excel, Share Point, Teams etc.

  • Experience with Oracle and Success factors preferred, experience with other HRIS and/or Learning Management System software packages a plus
