Job Description Summary
The Commercial Excellence CoE is chartered with maximizing the productivity and effectiveness of the GE Digital commercial teams. The Sales Operations Program Manager is a critical role in defining standards, providing analytical support and insights, and ensuring compliance with GED’s commercial processes, tools and procedures.
You will be a part of the horizontal commercial excellence COE organization & will be responsible for providing key program support around all sales operation’s initiatives including Sales Compensation, Pricing & Contract Governance, Sales Enablement, Partner Operations, and Lean related activities. This includes wing-to-wing execution of business critical, cross functional projects to deliver high quality outcomes to internal and external customers. This role partners with cross functions to define requirements, drive the initiative to ensure outcomes are delivered on time, and monitor overall results of programs.
Coordinate program support activities, including the development of internal and external communications, establishing roadmaps and benchmarks, developing implementation, testing and training plans and ensuring the successful transition to support and maintenance teams
Support Channel Partner contracting policies and procedures including onboarding, guidelines, compliance, and commissions.
Support CoE in defining standard commercial processes, metrics, definitions, and tools. Develop standard work across verticals.
Develop an open quality culture within the organization that fosters issue discussion and decision-making based on quality and compliance objectives
Utilize reporting stack, inclusive of Salesforce.com and other visualization / reporting tools to design / utilize reports and dashboards that provide commercial intelligence and insight.
Partner with Sales Strategy & Excellence teams, BU Channel Managers, and Field Sales to evaluate and improve functional processes from a tools and technology perspective. Leverage your domain expertise; you are expected to further the knowledge and improve productivity of your colleagues with activities such as creating learning content, giving presentations, and supporting a continuous learning culture.
Bachelor's Degree. A minimum 5 years of professional experience.
Project/program management experience within sales or channel operations
Experience with process quality methodology
Demonstrated program management skills including project initiation, scoping, resourcing, scheduling, budgeting, risk management and communication
Project management experience in global environments
Awareness of and ability to deliver compliance requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interface and influence at all levels in the organization
Demonstrated ability to excel in a global matrix organization
Analytic, creative and business focused problem solver
Ability to learn complex systems and business processes and define requirements for solutions
Experience as a business user/analyst working with large scale data

Highly driven individual with an execution focus and a strong sense of urgency in a rapidly changing environment
Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to lead and influence cross functionally toward execution of a strategic initiative.
Experience working with a field sales force and/or channel partners.
Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
Experience working with Salesforce.com and quoting tools.
Experience with Business Intelligence or Data Visualization tools (Tableau)
Exhibited capability to break down complex issues with the goal of mitigating/eliminating barriers.
Independent, self-directed, with a strong attention to detail.
Strong intellectual curiosity—a desire to identify the “why” in a situation.
