The Showroom CSR plays an integral role in supporting the foundation of our showroom business. This role is responsible for providing an efficient and luxurious experience for all consumers who visit our showroom. The individual will work alongside our showroom consultants, outside sales and branch managers to increase both sales volumes and customer base.

May include, in addition to;

  • Manage showroom phone line, contacting customers to confirm appointments, answering incoming phone calls and scheduling showroom consultations.

  • Enthusiastically work with customers to find what they need, answer questions, create solutions and ensure a smooth and quick sales process.

  • Educate customers on the selection process to create the kitchen and/or bath of their dreams.

  • Build lasting relationships with customers by attentively following up on inquires and purchases.

  • Actively communicate new products, sales programs and discounts via outbound calls and in-house discussions.

  • Update customer contracts, coordinate deliveries with the warehouse, and answer sales calls for general information

  • Develop sales leads and opportunities through walk in customers, internet enquires and leads generated by other promotional activities for drive business to the location.

  • Assist with the coordination of events, customer functions and other activities that will generate excitement and activity around the site.

  • Maintain showroom by ensuring products and product literature are current, presentable and clean.

  • Participate in on and offsite meetings, trainings, and showroom events as required.

  • Perform additional duties as needed.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Knowledge of kitchen and bathroom supplies / products (fixtures, faucets, sinks, tubs, toilets, plumbing, etc)

  • Demonstrated successful inside sales skills

  • Effective and high quality Customer Service/Relationship management skills via walk-ins, phone, and email;

  • Positive, professional attitude, handling difficult customers with ability to diffuse negative situations

  • Developing rapport and effective listening skills

  • Professionalism – patience, poise and tact

  • Ability to deal with high volume customer traffic

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills including listening skills

  • Effective organizational skills and time management skills including ability to prioritize and multi-task

  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to establish positive working relationships with internal and external customers and employees

  • Ability to use good judgement and strong work ethics and integrity on the job

  • General Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word) as well as working knowledge of data base applications

Experience:

  • 3 plus years of supplying superior customer service experience, preferably within a showroom environment

  • 3 plus years of experience with sales of kitchen and bathroom products

Education:

High School diploma or GED equivalent minimum. College preferred.
