This role in summary

Whirlpool is seeking qualified candidates for our Quality Auditor position. The position is located at our Fall River, MA site. In our continuous improvement culture focusing on keeping the customer at the center of everything we do, The positions will focus on ensuring compliance with quality standards as well as running and/or supporting investigations to root cause issues and implement countermeasures.

Work shift: 1st (6:45am – 3:15pm) overtime & Saturdays as-required.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Follow audit procedures to ensure critical parameters are in compliance

  • Perform investigations and report on findings and countermeasures.

  • Support assembly inspection and audits.

  • Inventory control physically and in spreadsheets

  • Communicate key issues and support root cause analysis

  • Act as the first step in the help chain.

  • Provide daily documentation of key metrics and information.

  • Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and record performance

Minimum requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 1+years of experience of quality assurance in a manufacturing environment

Preferred skills and experiences

  • Critical thinking to understand potential issues on the product from a customer perspective and potential solutions.

  • Organization skills for different tasks and data collection.

  • Ability to follow step by step processes and work well with others.

  • Ability to lead by example and make timely business decisions.

  • Basic computer skills RSRWH
