Actalent QC Chemist in Fall River, Massachusetts

This QC opening performs routine testing using various chemistry techniques. This role is pressing and they need someone with direct industry Pharmaceutical Experience who can come in immediately and make an impact immediately.

The general job duties and responsibilities of the Chemist include but are not limited to the following:

• Conduct routine testing or other analysis in a specific group or department setting.

• Conduct advanced testing and critical testing, as required.

• Operate specialized equipment or conduct specialized skill testing

• Working knowledge of raw materials testing and release

• Working knowledge of instruments such as Karl Fisher, HPLC, GC, Particle size, ICP

• Lead investigation activities.

• Ensure compliance to all data integrity and cGMP practices, and procedures, and expect

• Ensure compliance with all good documentation practices.

Work Environment

Will be working with a small team of 15 people in quality with a lot of cross-collaboration with different departments.

First shift 8:00 am- 5:00 pm Monday- Friday.


Hplc, sap, Karl Fisher, FRIT, uplc, GC, gas chromatography, raw material, Chemistry, Quality control, Analytical chemistry, Gmp

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum requirements Bachelor of Science with at least 4-5 years will not take anything less.

Needs to have previous experience working in the pharmaceutical industry.

MDI (Medical Device Inhalents is strongly encouraged)
