Summary: Responsible for the safe and reliable transportation of products. In event of absence, position will be filled by adequately trained personnel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Includes the following (Straight Job Operator)
Valid DOT medical qualification card
Strong overall warehouse knowledge
Forklift/Motorized Pallet Jack experience
Safe operation of company vehicle/ and inspection of equipment
Adhere to necessary insurance regulations to be on the company driver policy.
Ability to work with little Supervision
Very detail oriented
Includes the following (Tractor Trailer Operator)
Pre/Post vehicle inspection
Maintain up to date valid CDL(Commercial Driver’s License)
Maintain driving log in accordance with federal standards
Transport fresh / frozen products in accordance with all Quality Assurance guidelines
Safe operation of company vehicle/ and inspection of equipment
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimal 4-8 years truck driving experience
Maintain up to date CDL(Commercial Driver’s License)
