Sheehan Family Companies Corporate CDL A - 2nd Shift in Everett, Massachusetts

Sheehan Family Companies is looking for a CDL A freight driver for their Gambrinus trucking company.

Job Summary:

Drive a tractor-trailer combination or a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross

Vehicle Weight (GVW). Duties include assisting with unloading truck. Requires commercial drivers'


Shift: Second shift -1 pm to 10 pm (approximately)

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the safe operation of vehicle

  • Ensure proper load sequence of brewery loads onto trailers

  • Maintain paperwork and obtain signatures at each stop/pickup

  • Maintain accurate hours of service record on electronic logging units

  • Ensure proper invoicing when delivering product

  • Hours are not fixed, must be flexible

  • Must continuously maintain a valid CDL A license

  • Ability to use a laptop or want to learn administrative functions

  • High School diploma

  • Read and write in order to record inventory

  • Fundamental math skills in order to count and interpret inventory

  • Valid and clean Class A or B driver’s license
