Massachusetts Employer Director of Maintenance in Essex, Massachusetts
Director of Maintenance: The Essex Housing Authority is seeking a highly motivated person to fill the part-time Director of Maintenance role. Responsibilities: Responsible for overseeing all maintenance functions, planning, projects, operations, contractors; Maintains all buildings and grounds ownded by the Agency in accordance to State guidelines and policy; Respobsible for responding to off-hours emergencies; Required to have general knowledge and skills in electrical, mechanical, snow removal, HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, grounds maintenance; Understanding of State Sanitary code and ability to interpret housing regulations. Qualifications: When on 24 hr. call must always be within 30-minute drive of EHA development. Must be in good physical health, possess a valid MA Driver\'s License, have reliable transportation and be able to lift 70lb objects. Tade licenses/certifications highly desirable. Full Benefits. 20hrs/wk. Compensation: \$30.83/per hour. Position open till October 31, 2024, or until filled.
