Cape Associates, Inc. Electrician- All Levels in Eastham, Massachusetts

Description:

We are looking to expand our Electrical team by adding a Master Electrician, Journeyman Electrician, or Apprentice Electricians. Competitive pay and benefits. Sign-on bonus based on experience.

Apprentice Electrician:

  • Work alongside our electricians and follow their instructions.

  • Help them to diagnose, repair, assemble, and install various electrical components and systems.

  • Interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.

  • Use a variety of tools and techniques to complete electrical tasks.

  • Order electrical parts, maintain work logs, and collaborate with other workers to complete large projects.

  • Must have a valid Driver’s License and vehicle.

    Journeyman Electrician:

  • Electricians are responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems.

  • Must be able to work with blueprints to figure out how the systems are supposed to work.

  • Troubleshoot electrical problems and produce solutions for them.

  • Deep familiarity with various types of electrical systems, fixtures, and components.

  • Must be able to repair electrical uses with a variety of tools and techniques.

  • Follow OSHA safety requirements and to safely use ladders, scaffolding, and platforms.

  • Must have valid MA Journeyman Electrician License.

  • Must have a valid Driver’s License and vehicle.

Master Electrician:

  • Installing, repairing, and servicing electrical systems.

  • Sourcing or fabricating replacement electrical components.

  • Interpreting blueprints and drawing rough sketches when required.

  • Guiding and overseeing other apprentices or journeyman electricians.

  • Drawing up preventative maintenance measures and explaining these to clients and other electricians.

  • Obtaining required permits, equipment, tools, and materials for projects.

  • Testing and troubleshooting systems.

  • Updating project records and preparing relevant documents and reports for clients/foremen/supervisor.

  • Communicating with clients, vendors, and other workers on the job sight.

  • Experience with generators and emergency power is preferred.

  • Must have current MA Master Electrician License. License will be used as the corporation license.
