Cartamundi MACHINE TECHNICIAN LEV 1 in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts

The Machine Technician, Games will be responsible for operating and troubleshooting equipment on the games assembly line.
What You'll Do as a Machine Technician, Games:
Operate Final Assembly equipment.
Perform basic troubleshooting on some of the equipment, such as carton tapers, dispensers, date coders and instruction inserters.
As a team member on the production line, work to meet required production and quality output levels.
Safely use hand and power tools as well as hoists and cranes
Fill out production reports, time tickets or service reports.
Participate in the department's Continuous Improvement Initiatives
Perform material handling
Support department initiatives such as 5S and Total Productive Maintenance Systems (TPM)
We're Looking for a Machine Technician, Games who Has:
The ability to operate and maintain box forming/wrapping equipment, shrink wrap/bundle equipment and other automated equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
An emphasis on teamwork and can function well in a diverse environment
A working knowledge of computers and an understanding of basic hydraulics, pneumatics, and technical writing/drawings
The ability to read and understand equipment operation manuals
Solid communication skills, with the ability to affectively collaborate their team
Is comfortable working under direct supervision
Experience with Emmeci, Crathern, Shanklin and/or Kallfass equipment, preferred, not required
2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, not required

Physical Requirements Include the Ability to:
Stand or sit for an 8-hour shift.
Repetitively grasp, pinch, push and pull with arms hands, occasionally simultaneously, with and without mechanical assisted devices
Frequently transfer objects and materials weighing up to 25 lbs
Reach above shoulder height to work, bending and stooping occasionally to work at different heights.
Safely mount, dismount and operate mobile equipment.
Move from one area to another in the department around equipment, climb stairs, platforms and ladders.
This Machine Technician, Games position is located on-site in our East Longmeadow, MA facility.
