Rapoza Landscape Fleet Mechanic & Facility Manager in East Falmouth, Massachusetts

This associate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining our vehicles, small and large equipment. You will also be responsible for transporting equipment and materials as well as participate in our snow removal services. Maintain accurate records for our vehicles, small and large equipment. Essential Tasks and Responsibilities: Open and close the shop each day with all necessary procedures. Diagnose and repair trucks as well as various pieces of diesel, gas and two-stroke equipment. Keep track of, schedule and perform all maintenance for trucks and equipment. Ability to determine priority of equipment repair and schedule appropriately. Keep an inventory of needed parts and supplies and order them as needed. Inventory tools and equipment in use and advise the manager regarding the need for new equipment purchases. Advise the manager about new equipment Participate in safety and training meetings and communicate the information to the crew after each session. Secure tools and equipment necessary for each job, including proper safety equipment. Complete appropriate paperwork in a timely manner and ensure accuracy of all paperwork, including timesheets, receipts of materials, etc. Participate in all necessary Rapoza training with relation to equipment and safety. Arrive for each workday on time and prepared, including dressed in the appropriate Rapoza uniform. Perform all driving/operating duties as required including pickup, delivery of equipment and materials. Remove trash and recycling from office and bathrooms each workday. Requirements: At least 3-5 years' experience in the automotive industry. Must possess a valid Massachusetts driver's license with an insurable driving record.
