We are seeking to hire a dynamic Development Officer to support the fund raising for EBNHC. In this newly created role, you will have the opportunity to work in all areas of development, including Major Gifts, Event Planning, Annual Giving, Corporate Giving, and Individual Giving. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for philanthropy, with the ability to work in fast-paced environments. In this role, you are responsible for planning, fund raising strategies, and for carrying out projects. Responsible for developing a sound development plan and procedures, to insure good working relationships between Development and departments. Individual must have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while meeting deadlines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Organizational skills required for prospective member tracking, invitation process, meeting organization, presentations, communications materials, and key follow up items

  • Responsible for campaign reporting which includes close interaction with our Information Systems department to maintain campaign dashboard and reports

  • Responsible for special projects, including special fundraising initiatives

  • Responds verbally and in writing to questions posed by potential donors

  • Prepares campaign materials and presentations for the Senior Leadership Team

Qualifications and Requirements

  • BA/BA Degree required, preferably in business, marketing, or communications

  • Three to five years development or related experience preferred.

  • Individual must be a strong communicator, with excellent written, presentation, oral communications, and interpersonal skills.

  • Must be able to think creatively and strategically

  • Individual must possess strong leadership and motivational skills
