Job Title: Welder

Job Description

Join our team as a Welder, where you will be assigned your own workstation and collaborate with a small, skilled team. Your role will involve a variety of mig and tig welding tasks, focusing on areas where your strengths are most prominent. A critical part of your job will be to interpret and work from customer-provided blueprints, primarily working with materials such as steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Flexibility to adapt to varying materials and welding techniques according to your expertise is important.

Hard Skills

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints

  • 1-2 years welding/fabrication experience

  • Mechanical aptitude

  • Proficiency in welding steel at a minimum

Soft Skills

  • Ability to work well in a team

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Dudley, Massachusetts.

Work Environment

The position is based in a fully air-conditioned machine/fabrication shop with around 55 employees. You'll be part of a 4-person fabrication team. The current first shift runs from 7:00am-3:30pm. As demand increases, the schedule may extend to 7:00am-5:30pm (approx. 50 hours per week), so flexibility with these potential hours is necessary.
