We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior MES Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in Emerson Syncade MES, specifically in the Biologics, Pharmaceutical, or Cell and Gene Therapy industries, to join our team. As an Senior MES Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting our manufacturing operations by performing business analysis, implementing recipe changes, and driving process improvements within the assigned area. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our organization and make a significant impact on our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform MES Business Analysis and Recipe Changes: Analyze MES requirements and make necessary changes to recipes in the assigned area, ensuring alignment with business needs and objectives.

  • Develop a Deep Understanding of the Business Process: Gain a comprehensive understanding of the business processes in the assigned area to support investigations and identify opportunities for recipe improvements.

  • Create and Maintain MES Recipe Authoring Standards: Establish and maintain standards for MES recipe authoring, including best practices, guidelines, and templates to ensure consistency and efficiency in recipe development.

  • Create and Deliver Training for MES Recipes/Processes: Develop training materials and deliver training sessions on MES recipes and processes to new MES resources or end users in the assigned area, ensuring their proficiency in working with MES recipes.

  • Provide Rotational On-Call Support for Manufacturing Operations: Collaborate with the operations team to provide rotational on-call support for MES-related issues and incidents during off-hours, ensuring smooth manufacturing operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline).

  • 3-5 years of experience as an MES Engineer, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and Emerson Syncade MES system in the Biologics, Pharmaceutical, or Cell and Gene Therapy industries.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and propose effective solutions.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Experience in creating and delivering training materials is preferred.

  • Knowledge of MES systems and recipe authoring tools is a plus.

  • Willingness to participate in rotational on-call support for manufacturing operations.
