In this very important role, the Commercial Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting the global innovator business interface with its customers and in driving sales performance by managing data capture and reporting on KPI’s. The role requires regular communication with the sales team as well as other departments within JM. This role will require strong analytical thinking skills, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to break down barriers and form strong collaborative relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Performance Metrics & KPI’s

  • Run monthly report on booked sales (part 1 of Sales Performance Metrics)

  • Work with finance to establish a report on monthly recognized revenue and profit (part 2 of Sales Performance Metrics)

  • Create and maintain monthly Sales Performance Metrics dashboard

  • Run regular audits of CRM data to ensure accuracy

  • Develop open opportunity report for SSS to mirror the existing report for custom manufacturing

  • Work with global sales team to update monthly open opportunity report for SSS & custom manufacturing

  • Implement, embed, and measure a standard set of KPI’s globally

  • Create and maintain monthly KPI dashboard

  • Identify necessary changes in systems and processes and implement and embed

  • Work with Sales and Marketing Specialist to standardize global data capture

  • Anticipate, propose, and implement upgrades to sales performance metrics measurement

  • Identify modifications to systems and process changes and create and implement such changes

    CRM

  • Undergo CRM training including research online to understand operation

  • Keep current training to maintain status CRM super user for Innovator Business Unit

  • Work with Sales and Marketing Specialist and corp IT to implement updates needed within CRM

    Sales Forecasting

  • Biweekly sales forecast

  • Maintain forecast of high probability projects & promotion of recently secured

  • Update other pending opportunities RAG ratings

    Customers

  • Provide new customer paperwork needed for customer set-up

  • Provide W9 form to customers

  • Provide banking information to customer

  • Set up new customers in JDE

  • Set up customer files, virtual project folders

    Invoicing

  • Invoice customer deposits based on Finance source data

  • Invoice FTE’s, Fixed Fee, JMPV, and Stability based on Finance source data

  • Credit/Rebill (correct) invoices with Finance approval

  • Save and send invoices to customers

    Credit

  • Request D&B reports from corporate finance

  • Work with commercial team to determine customer credit limits

  • Create cash flow analysis for proposals if required

  • Review customer credit on a regular basis

    Miscellaneous

  • Critical back-up for project set-up in JDE/Cispro/Ariba

    Are you the ideal candidate?

  • BA with concentration in finance and Business Administration, or equivalent with demonstrated success in supporting a business

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint)

  • Strong Excel skills

  • Experience working in and running reports within a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system desirable

  • Similar experience in a related industry position

  • An understanding of Health Sector products/services desirable

  • 3+ years relevant experience
