Tegra Medical Clean Room Operator in Dartmouth, Massachusetts
A Clean Room Operator is responsible for assembling, testing, inspecting (including close visual), and packaging medical devices per work instructions using a variety of assembly equipment, fixtures and test equipment. Essential Functions Clean, prepare, assemble, inspect and package product Ensure consistent quality components are produced that meet customer expectations. Follow mandatory daily and bi-weekly routine cleaning procedures Job Requirements Operate automatic or semi-automatic equipment or general assembly tools as well as inspection equipment including micrometers, calipers, comparator and vision systems. Compliance to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and all required procedures in the Tegra Medical Quality Management System. Has the ability to follow directions and to receive detailed instructions to accomplish tasks Limited supervision (must be highly autonomous; show much independence) Must demonstrate mutual respect, ongoing communication and a positive outlook with both internal team members and customers. Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required. Level of Skill, Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent and at least six months of manufacturing experience in a manufacturing environment is required. Experience in medical device manufacturing, aerospace, machinery, metals, health, consumer goods a plus. Must be able to understand component defect awareness and effectively use various measuring tools as initial quality control. Must also have excellent organizational skills with a commitment to meeting deadlines and expectations while ensuring overall quality of delivery and a demonstrated ability to build effective business relationships across all levels of business. Good manual dexterity, basic Math Skills and Quality Control skills and excellent hygiene are required. Must be a cooperative team player and demonstrates open-mindedness and flexibility. Maintains a high degree of quality in all work performed.
