Aerotek Quality Control Inspector in Danvers, Massachusetts

Job Title: Quality Control Inspector

Job Description

As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for performing inspections of parts according to defined criteria using standard visual, physical, mechanical, and/or electrical measurements. Your tasks will include the ability to perform visual inspections on large lot sizes under a microscope, accurately documenting results of inspections and testing, maintaining all controlled documentation files and test records in a timely manner, performing data entry into the computer, and conducting incoming, in-process, and final inspections. You will be eligible for a $0.50 raise after 3 months and an additional $0.50 raise after 6 months.

Hard Skills

  • 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Experience with medical devices

  • Ability to use inspection gauges and microscopes

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel

  • Knowledge of ISO and GMP

Soft Skills

  • Ability to follow SOPs and inspection procedures

  • Strong documentation skills

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Danvers, Massachusetts.

Work Environment

This position is not located in a cleanroom environment, and no PPE is required. The quality department consists of about 10-12 employees. Each contractor gets their own bench. The department area is shared with the warehouse team, fostering constant interaction among team members.
