Polymers & Fluids segment is composed of highly branded products serving diverse markets that require value-added, differentiated solutions. These product offerings include adhesives, sealants, coatings, lubricants, additives, and cleaners for Transportation, Electronics, automotive aftermarket, MRO, Industrial Cleaning and Lubrication, New Energy, and Marine industry customers with unique needs. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages all inbound leads from website, tradeshows, inbound calls, and other marketing programs:

  • Timely lead retrieval

  • Research, contact, qualify and prioritize leads

  • Disposition of leads to channel partners, regional sales manager or others, utilizing Salesforce.com

  • Provides monthly/quarterly reporting of lead metrics:

  • Number of leads

  • Qualified leads

  • Leads sent to distribution partners

  • Leads that turned into opportunities

  • Leads that resulted in new revenue

  • Supports small revenue opportunities within select focused channel partners and existing ‘20’ direct customers through communications and other activities as needed to contribute to overall growth of the division.

  • Identifies and closes additional purchases of products and services by customers' communities.

  • Prospects, qualifies, and generates sales within ITWPP’s established distribution partners.

  • Maintains smaller distribution partners and named direct accounts with pricing notification and other communication and support as required.

  • Effectively utilizes sales processes and tools in Salesforce (opportunities, call plans, dashboards) to support significant growth for the Americas.

  • May provide basic technical service support, increasing customer satisfaction with existing customers.

  • Works closely with Sales, Marketing, Tech Services, and Customer Service to create new business opportunities.

  • Provides basic technical support and redirects inquiries related to customer service, quality, and more detailed technical requests while ensuring timely response to customers.

  • Keeps management informed of all activity, including timely preparation of reports.

  • Assists in providing training to both customers and employees.

  • Effectively communicates with others inside and outside of the company in a professional manner to promote customer service orientation.

  • May provide other reports or analysis as requested.

  • Promotes, supports, and adheres to all safety, environmental and quality related policies and procedures.

  • College degree in technical discipline preferred.

  • 1-3 years’ experience in customer service, sales, or similar field.

  • Strong desire to interact with customers and sell.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Computer skills in Word, Excel, Salesforce.com and ERP Systems is preferred.

  • Solid technical acumen and/or technical curiosity.

  • Comfortable cold-calling and collecting customer/market information.

  • Highly organized, detail oriented, and good multi-tasker. 

  • Strong bias for action and the ability to super-serve customers.

  • Demonstrated competency for developing relationships and identifying key decision makers.

  • Strong understanding and follow-up of sales processes.

  • Ability to research companies and contacts through various methods (web search, existing records in CRM, other tools/websites. 

  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritize tasks.

  • Travel up to 10-20%
