Pioneer Cold Logistic Services Customer Service Representative in Chicopee, Massachusetts

The customer service representative is responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company services and programs as well as communicating effectively with team members within the customer service department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Processes orders, prepares correspondence and fulfills customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction Monitor faxes and distribute to appropriate department/person immediately Compose correspondence as necessary to advise customer of necessary information Fax weekly/daily reports and copies of signed bills of lading/transfers Strives to meet and exceed customer's service expectations Performs a variety of other tasks Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: High school diploma is preferred 1 - 3 years of experience as a customer service representative Computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook) Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures within the customer service field Relies on instruction and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job Physical Requirements: Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling Hand/eye coordination to operate computer keyboard, tools, and company vehicle Lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds Vision for reading, recording and interpreting information Speech communication and hearing to maintain communication with employees and customers
