Event Management Specialist

Job Description:

This position reports to the Assistant Director, Sales & Events. The Event Management Specialist is a key member of the Event Management team and coordinates event services with University Service departments and outside vendors. This position maintains professional relationships within the Boston College community (students and staff), and assists external clients and vendors. Under the supervision of the Assistant Director, Sales & Events, this position will collaborate with the team in marketing and selling campus services, focusing more on new and existing external constituents, while developing working knowledge and planning of campus events.

Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree required, with previous experience in event planning preferred.

Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), and/or Collegiate Conference and Events Program (CCEP) designation preferred, but not required.

Salary commensurate with relevant experience and education.

Events Specialist: 1-2 years’ experience: $48,900. to $61,150.
