Job Description

AECOM is seeking an experienced Senior Transit Systems Program Manager to join our World Class Rail Team in either our Chelmsford or Boston, MA offices. As this is a high-profile position you will have the opportunity to manage multi-disciplinary teams required to deliver complicated passenger rail and transit facilities to include bus, track, systems, structures, tunnels, stations, and potentially maintenance and storage facilities and/or capacity expansions. Daily duties and typical responsibilities to include:

  • Manage a multidisciplinary team .

  • Lead and manage complex transportation programs.

  • Provide the organization with technical leadership and strategic direction for program delivery globally.

  • Drive innovation in program management approaches and methodology to achieve marketplace differentiation.

  • Work with Global Business Lines, Regional leadership, and Market Sector Leaders to identify new business opportunities and develop solutions to address them.

  • Identify areas of high risk and pro-actively takes actions to positively impact program outcomes.

  • Contribute to the global learning and people development strategy for program management, including identification of talent gaps and resourcing plans.

  • Assess long-term and disruptive trends in area of expertise.

  • Propose skill development approaches and workforce planning to deliver capabilities for the future.

  • Actively supports the attraction and retention of talent across area of expertise.

  • Accountable for overall financial success and delivery of AECOM Program Management agreement.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • BA/BS in Civil Engineering plus 10 years of demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

  • P.E. / Professional Engineering License.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 15 years professional experience with 10 years in a program management leadership role.

  • Recognized for Rail Program Management expertise within national/regional market.

  • Transit Experience.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $150,000.00 - $270,000.00.
