How will you make an impact?
Within the Quality organization of the Chelmsford, MA facility, we are seeking a capable Quality Control Technician II who will be motivated by this exciting opportunity for an effective technician to help our POROS workstream team meet the fast-growing needs of our clients.
This position is on a 12-hour, 2-2-3 schedule, all day shifts (6:00am to 6:00pm).
What will you do?
Supporting the Quality Organization, the Quality Control Technician II will:
Following written procedures, perform analytical testing of In-Process, Product Release and Stability samples.
Inspect and approve raw materials, provide line clearances, and inspect finished goods
Adhere to in-house processes and procedures while maintaining compliance to ISO 13485 standards.
Quickly identify issues that must be escalated to management
Maintain laboratory environment cleanliness and usability
How will you get here?
Education and Experience
- HS Diploma, or equivalent, with 3+ years of related Quality Control experience
or
Associate's or equivalent degree from accredited college/university in relevant scientific discipline
Must be able to work safely with chemicals, biologics and hazardous material
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Read, understand and follow written procedures exactly
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic environment and adjust activities to meet the needs of the business while maintaining a focus on Quality.
Excellent inter-personal, communication and organizational skills with good attention to detail.
Knowledge of Quality standard (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA, ICH) guidelines is desirable
Familiarity with SAP, Agile, E1, LIMS or other electronic data/document management systems is a plus
