Role Purpose: Surface preparation of metal parts and application of final protective coatings as specified by work orders, diagrams, or layout, by performing the following duties.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
• Prepare parts for gaging using a sand blasting booth per process instructions.
• Cleaning parts by submerging parts in a cleaning tank.
• Burnish parts per drawing using hand tools.
• Apply various coatings/potting per engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Operates and maintains production of UV coating chamber per productions schedule.
• Other duties may be assigned.
Education and/or Experience:
• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1+ year of related experience
• A desire to learn and grow your manufacturing career.
• Experience in the electromechanical field is a plus.
